Tribute Gifts

Do you know someone whose values align with FIRE’s principled stand for civil liberties?

You can make a contribution to FIRE that honors them! You can even commemorate a special occasion (like a marriage or birthday) or gift a friend an annual FIRE membership! You can also donate in memory of a loved one. In each case, we’ll notify who you designate of this special gift and extend all the benefits associated.

You can make a tribute gift using our online donation form. After you make the gift, you will be given the option to write your own note that can be sent either through email or postal mail.

You can also make a gift by mail, through stock or wire transfer, or by giving us a call at 215-717-3473, and just let us know your gift is being made in tribute.

Become an Alumni Activist!

Alumni play a crucial role in the fight for campus reform. You can leverage your influence and apply the pressure necessary for change by diverting your annual donation to your alma mater to FIRE instead.

When you make a donation to FIRE in lieu of a gift to a school, FIRE informs the leadership at that institution that until they fully protect individual rights on campus, the school will continue to lose your charitable support.

FIRE wants to work with your alma mater to reform their speech codes and earn a “green-light” rating. We will also extend a helping hand and send along resources to get the job done.

If you wish to make a gift to FIRE in lieu of a gift to a school, contact us to let us know or feel free to mail in this sheet. We’ll handle the rest!
